Mark Hijleh, author of Towards a Global Music Theory (Ashgate 2012), holds a DMA in composition from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University (where he also studied Black music history with Dominique-René de Lerma), and an MA in world music from the University of Sheffield (UK). He is currently Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor of Music at The King’s College in New York City.
Christine Kohnen is Visiting Assistant Professor of Statistics at Carleton College.
Andy McGraw is Associate Professor of Music at the University of Richmond.
